Snow Fall
“Snow Fall: The Avalanche at Tunnel Creek” is a New York Times multimedia feature by reporter John Branch, published on December 20, 2012. The article won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize in Feature Writing and a Peabody Award.[1] and led many readers to speculate that it signaled the future of online journalism.
The feature opened Suzanne Churchill’s mind to the possibility that online storytelling could be as immersive as print books—perhaps even more so. “Snow Fall” became an inspiration for the design of the DH project, Mina Loy: Navigating the Avant-Garde.
